I recently had the opportunity to catch the cast during rehearsals – and though I only saw a few scenes, they were enough for me to appreciate the genius of this extremely funny and well written script. When you’ve grown up in Vegas, as I have, with parents who have been known to play poker for about 27 hours running, you become sort of an expert on how a casino should really look, feel, sound and operate. This so-called self-styled “expertise” is strictly based on 10+ years of my formative years spent navigating around colourful slot machines and a myriad of table games (roulette, black jack, etc.).
